IIM CAT Syllabus 2020- CAT Topics wise syllabus for VARC, DI&LR, QA Sections:

The CAT 2020 will be held on 25th November (Sunday) in two sessions. The CAT Entrance Exam will be organized in test centres spread across 147 cities. There will three sections in which questions will be asked such as Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC), Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DI & LR) and Quantitative Ability (QA). We advised to aspirants that they must cover all sections before commencing the exam. They can join online test series, mock Test and solve CAT previous year questions papers and try to solve paper in 3 hours. CAT Exam Pattern 2020- Section Wise Marking Scheme:

We are giving in brief details of CAT Exam Syllabus and pattern in this article. The CAT question paper will carry 100 questions of objective type multiple choices. These questions divided into three sections like Verbal & Reading Comprehension (VARC) - 34, Date Interpretation & logical Reasoning (DILR)- 32 and Quantitative Ability (QA)- 34. All the sections carry both multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) and Non-MCQs (Subjective Questions). 3 marks allotted for each correct answer and 1 mark deducted for an incorrect answer. The duration of the test will be 180 minutes. There will be three sections:

• Section I: Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension
• Section II: Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning

IIM CAT Exam Syllabus 2020 Section Wise:

CAT Syllabus 2020 for DILR section in CAT is divided in two parts i.e. Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning. The 1st part of CAT syllabus covers questions based on Data Interpretation (DI) and the 2nd part of CAT 2020 exam syllabus on DILR is based on questions on different topics on Logical Reasoning. VARC section in CAT 2020 is divided into 2 parts.
